Behind the Brand
What originally intrigued me about the brand is that they focus on creating products that are specifically geared towards your hair type and individual needs. I am a sucker for a hair quiz, so I see why this grabbed me in so quickly! I am able to go on the site and scroll through tons of options for my hair to see what’s best for me on my own as well.
The brand has a strong focus on putting in the ingredients that will best suit the hair without any sulfates, parabens, and gluten. Side Note: Some haircare brands are going through some very interesting lawsuits about ingredients right now, so using brands that are more on the cautious side always sits better with me. They use all-natural ingredients as well which is always a plus in the haircare world!
Sustainability
I am overjoyed to see that they only use biodegradable and recyclable materials in their packaging, so they are definitely trying to reduce their waste created. I would of course prefer no plastic at all in the packaging, but as a start this is a really great achievement!
Results!
You all know how to shampoo and condition your hair I hope, so there isn’t much explaining to do there. All I can say is that my hair has never felt smoother, yet it doesn’t feel greasy or like there is a film on my hair. The oils present in the product (Tee Tree & Argan) are perfect for taming those wild curls and allowing them to scrunch up beautifully after the shower and actually air dry really nicely! I am always worried about weighing down my curls, but this actually lifted them up and created a really bouncy and fun outcome! I have been using this for weeks now and I am seeing an improvement in my curls and the way they naturally want to fall.
If you have straight or wavy hair, this formula would also work for you because it is not specifically geared towards curls, but towards improving hair health overall!
